Sponsor an Education Program

As part of our education program Bone Creek Museum is offering an educational program as part of the Prairie Portraits exhibition by Kristine Allphin Brakenhoff on display July – October. The museum’s aim is to connect people to the land through art and develop an increased awareness of native prairie plants, the species that rely on their existence, and the importance of their preservation.

The museum will collaborate with area 4-H youth to learn about pollinator gardens, native prairie species and ecosystems by adding native plants and a pollinator garden in the backyard of Bone Creek Museum. We invite your sponsorship to make this and other education projects like it possible.

During a typical two-week period in the school year, the museum receives 110 to 120 students who participate in interactive activities at the museum and learn from follow-up art exercises in their classrooms.
