At the recent October 3rd reception for “Karen Krull Robart: Textile Landscapes”, Bone Creek Curator Mark L. Moseman and Karen Krull Robart jointly selected one of her paintings for a museum acquisition. The Evening Darkens Over….Wild Will be the Night, pictured here, was added to the growing art collection at Bone Creek Museum of Agrarian Art.
Moseman discovered Robart’s artwork at the Prairie Winds Art Center in Grand Island, Nebraska, and invited her to submit an application to exhibit at the Bone Creek Emerging Artist Gallery. Robarts has exhibited at the Governor’s Mansion and has been featured in Nebraska Life. Bone Creek Museum of Agrarian Art sponsors the Emerging Artist Gallery at Moravec Financial Advisors, 527 4th Street, in David City. The Robarts exhibit runs through November 14, 2010.
