Bill and Patty Nelson of Shelton, Nebraska have been collecting Luigi Lucioni original prints for years, after their friend Dr. Embury turned them on to the artist’s work. Some of their collection Bill purchased directly from the artist himself, while on trips visiting the New England Vermont area. Now the Nelson’s are passing their love for the vivid natural wonder of Lucioni’s work to Bone Creek and its patrons. We are pleased to be able to have in our collection and make available to the public 44 framed prints ranging in dates from 1932 to 1982.
Luigi Lucioni (1900-1988) is a renowned artist whose work is highly sought after by collectors. Bone Creek joins over 40 other American museums that have this artist’s work in their collections.
