Ashland, Nebraska artist Wendy Hall has created a series of small paintings to pair with excerpts from a diary written by Cecelia Hall, her husband’s great grandmother. In 1869, Cecelia and her husband homesteaded the land where the Halls still live. Wendy has selected excerpts and created paintings to match, such as a still life of mulberries or cattle laying down in the field.
