The Bone Creek Museum of Agrarian Art will be temporarily closed beginning Dec. 16, 2024. After that date, the museum at 575 E Street will be closed as the organization moves and prepares to open in its new location at 312 North 5th Street. The historic building on the corner of 5th and C Streets has been under construction since the fall of 2023.
The museum plans to reopen with a grand opening weekend on April 4-6, 2025.
The building, which dates back to 1917, served as an assembly plant for Model T Ford automobiles.
Under the leadership of the museum’s board of directors, the 10,000 square foot main floor has been
reimagined into gallery and educational spaces as well as a large front entry which gives honor to the
building’s original design and function.
