In lieu of the recently postponed concert which was scheduled for September 13, 2020, Butler County Arts Council and Bone Creek Museum of Agrarian Art invited the Lightning Bugs’ Jim Pipher, Reynold Peterson and Steve Hanson to perform a virtual concert of jazz and western standards as well as a few local favorite tunes. This performance is dedicated especially to the residents and staff at St. Joseph’s Villa and Court and David Place nursing homes, who frequently enjoy the free concerts sponsored by the Butler County Arts Council each season. This event was sponsored by the Nebraska Arts Council and Nebraska Cultural Endowment and in part by many local individual and corporate sponsors.
